Exiland Backup 2.2 is releasedOctober 4, 2008
Version 2.2 of Exiland Backup is released. This version has Windows Vista and Windows 2008 Server support, fixed some errors and improved interface. See Version History for details.
Version 2.0 is not supported any longer. All licensed users of Exiland Backup can upgrade to version 2.2 free of charge.

Exiland Software introduces a new update of Exiland Backup. This update includes two new capabilities:
  • Added canceling backup operation during preprocess activity.
  • Added changing a priority of the program during task operation.
  • Fixed bug where command 'Open' the file from a ZIP archive had no effect.

This new update introduces several fixes and enhancements:
  • Fixed the "Multiple transactions are not supported for multi-volume archives - Native error: 00062" error which appears while the splitting a ZIP archive into multiple volumes.
  • Fixed problem with extracting of large Zip64 archives.
  • Added extracting files from a ZIP archive to the source locations.
  • Added saving size and position of the Main window on closing the program.

Version 2.0 of Exiland Backup is released. This version has totally redesigned user interface and includes a lot of new features. Version 1.5 is not supported any longer. All licensed users of Exiland Backup 1.X can upgrade to version 2.0 free of charge.
